"Battle Chicken Wing"!
I'm going all over the region to find the best chicken wings. Brantford, Cambridge, Kitchener and Guelph.
Try them out yourself and let me know what YOU think!

If there were a "sports fan heaven" I think it would include 11 bigscreen TVs, that would carry Hockey Night in Canada on Saturdays, on Sundays watch eight different NFL games, followed up with a viewing of Monday Night Football-all found at "The Arena Bar & Grill in Guelph!
The menu is fun with something for everyone like the “Starving Student Special”.
20 chicken wings served with your favorite sauce. 4 Wimpy Hamburgers with fried onions, mustard, relish and ketchup. THEN served with a 60oz jug of Arena Lager! All for $24.95!
Grab an appie during the game. Cheese nachos, Snake bites: chicken with a little kick, 10 spicy nuggets served with ranch dressing, or antijitos.
We enjoyed the “Chicken Quesadilla” with tender chicken breast, tomatoes, green peppers, onion and mixed cheese piled on a soft flour tortilla served with salsa and sour cream. A filling appie to share (I wouldn’t have if I didn’t have to lol).

Onto the chicken wings! With an everyday per-wing price of just .49 cents you can't go wrong!
Arena Bar & Grill serves them up mild, medium, hot, suicide, Cajun, honey garlic and Texas gold.
Their wings aren’t breaded and are KICK ASS!

We started with the Cajun wings. Here's why this wing ROCKED! Cajun wing seasoning is hard to perfect as it's a dry rub. Other places serve it up and some wings have a TON of seasoning while others barely have any seasoning. At The Arena Bar & Grill the Cajub was crispy, tender inside and the seasoning was perfectly distibuted throughout all the wings, nice and even. It seems like they have been individually dusted. Very good!
The Texas Gold wings were up next. This is a sauce that the Arena Bar & Grill makes in house and we enjoyed its great southern heat with a nice bit of sweet! Ask Chuck the owner about the story behind these awesome wings. Flavour as big as the state it's named after. Yeah Baby!

You'll also know the hallmark of a great wing flavour when a complete stranger sitting at the bar even asked if we had tried the wings because he knows how tasty they are too!J
