Yes, my 50th birthday celebrations began December 26, 08 and, God willing, ended today.    Gayle had cleverly doctored up my work station this morning.  (kind of a frightening welcoming at 4 in the morning)  It's an inflatable walker with lots of funny and sadly accurate  slogans and warnings written all over it.  The police tape was a nice touch.  Thanks Gayle.

 Next up the group birthday sing-a-long complete with another 50 or so candles to blow out.  No, the fire department wasn't needed.  But thanks for asking.

I thought I could do it in one large gasp.....

...but, obviously, trick candles were used.

See, turning 50 wasn't so bad after all.  I had more fun than any of the others.  Thanks for the thought everyone.  It certainly didn't go unnoticed.  (and you people approaching 50 can take that any way you want to.)
