Here's how it works. You'll have to choose (that's where the Pick Your Poison part comes in) between the Game of the Day or spinning Dave's Wheel. The Game of the Day changes everyday and could be anything including naming the 5 songs and artists on the Overdrive at 5. Or you could spin Dave's Wheel. On the Wheel every day are 4 possibilities. You could win instantly, you could lose instantly, or you could have to name the 5 songs and artists in the Overdrive (that is if it's not the Game of the Day of course). Some of the other games that could pop up as The Game of the Day or on Dave's Wheel include Fact or Fiction, Davioke (yes, you might just have to sing for Carlos), Answer Wrong and Win, 5 in 10 (you have 10 seconds to name 5 things, like 5 things you'd that go wonderfully with pork for example), 17 Seconds (Carlos will give you 17 seconds to speak on a topic of his choosing - like pork - without pausing, "ummming" or "ahhhing"), Snack Cake or Gangsta Rapper, Which Came First?, Before They Were Famous, or whatever else Carlos comes up with.
