Stephen Stills, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Barry Goldberg form new supergroup

Stephen Stills, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Electric Flag's Barry Goldberg have formed a new supergroup called The Rides.

Their debut album, Can't Get Enough, will be released on August 27th, and the band will be launching a world tour in September.

Whitesnake's David Coverdale discusses hearing loss

Whitesnake singer David Coverdale recently spoke to the BBC Breakfast team about how decades in rock have effected his ears.

“They’re not bad,” he explains, “they could be a lot worse but I look upon it as a trade-off. I’ve had an incredibly successful journey since joining Deep Purple 40 years ago.”

“There is hearing loss, of course, but we use an in-ear monitor where I can balance the level of the sound,” Coverdale continued. “It’s got to be all-embracing to me, and I work with great musicians, too; they’re not loud to disguise anything..it’s just very powerful stuff.”

Bill Wyman to return to The Rolling Stones "never again"

Bill Wyman joined the Rolling Stones onstage at their London shows in November 2012, and he's now ruled out the possibility of ever performing with them again.

"The nice thing was that my kids saw me on stage with the Stones," he says. "They'd asked me the December before, and I had to jam with them for three days. I was under the impression I was going to get really involved, but when it came to it, they only wanted me to do two songs, which was very disappointing."

Wyman adds, "I've always maintained that you can't go back to things, and they can never be the same... It doesn't work. It was a one-off. Five minutes. OK, never again. No regrets, we're still great friends."

Classic Beach Boys concert coming to DVD

Eagle Rock has set a June 18th release date for "The Beach Boys: Good Vibrations Tour," which features the band's 1976 concert at Anaheim Stadium in Southern California.

The concert was filmed for American television and captured the band—Brian, Carl, and Dennis Wilson, Mike Love, and Al Jardine—on tour in support of their "15 Big Ones" album.

In addition to the live concert, the concert film features interviews and "whimsical vignettes.

More new Fleetwood Mac music coming

Lindsey Buckingham says that he, drummer Mick Fleetwood and bassist John McVie "cut eight songs" with producer Mitchell Froom last year after Fleetwood Mac decided it would be touring this year. Three of those—"Sad Angel," "It Takes Time" and "Miss Fantasy"—are part of the "Extended Play" digital release that came out May 6th.

Buckingham says, "it may be too early to tell where things are going to go" with the remaining songs, but he adds that "it's safe to say there is more than these four songs that you're going to hear from Fleetwood Mac -- it's just a question of how and when, y'know?"
