- Ellen DeGeneres announced yesterday that's she's leaving "American Idol" after just one season. Basically, she decided to kick "Idol" because she was too busy and nice to continue doing it. She released a statement saying, quote, "A couple months ago, I let Fox and the 'American Idol' producers know that this didn't feel like the right fit for me." Now the producers have to fill TWO seats.
So many rumours floating around on who will be added to the panel. Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson, and even Courtney Love!

2001 – R.E.M.’s Peter Buck pled not guilty to charges over an alleged “air rage” incident earlier in the year aboard a transatlantic flight. He was accused of assaulting two British Airways staffers, causing criminal damage, and interfering with a door control panel.
2003 – Police issued an arrest warrant for Vince Neil after he allegedly attacked a prostitute at the Moonlite Bunny Ranch in Nevada.
