1 Bag Of Garbage Per Week?

Not sure if I can pull this off EVERY week but we did this week.
Week 3 of Law family's Green Bin Challenge with Region of Waterloo Waste Management and the results are pretty astonishing.
We have been diligent with recycing (which we were "pretty good" with before but there's always room for improvement) and have really focused on the composting side of things. It's amazing when you KNOW where everything is supposed to go, how easy it is and the extra effort has resulted in:
ONE, 1, UNO bag of garbage for the entire week! Not a bad, huh? And there is a pic to prove it.
Not only that; I have also been able to use soil that was made using my own composter...and used in one of my back gardens.
Do I get a "green" star? lol. Wanna join the challenge? Get info ...

This guy is AWESOME! I'd be so dizzy doing this, I'm sure I'd end up in emergency after wiping out...
Don't try this at home or unsupervised.

Leave it to "Sin City" to come up with this one...lol.
An adult toy company called Fun Factory has come up with an entirely new way for you to lose money in Vegas.
They've started hosting "Sex Toy Races" where they line up four battery-powered self-love devices on a table, turn them on, and let you gamble on which one gets to the other side of the table first. (???)
If you need to see it for yourself . . . which you probably do . . . here's the footage.
My money is on the pink one lol.
cheers

This is an AMAZING initiative being embraced by the NHL and NHLPA. The league is leading the way in being the FIRST of the 4 major North American sports to join together with You Can Play, an organization that promotes gay and lesbian equality in sports, intended to make the league more welcoming to gay players, fans and officials.
The NHL is the first of the four major U.S. professional sports leagues to sign up with the year-old organization, which aims to make players more sensitive to the atmosphere of “casual homophobia” that can exist in locker rooms.
Former Leafs GM Brian Burke is an advisor and his son Patrick is co-founder of the organization which has been embraced by athletes, fans and celebrities, including Ellen DeGeneres who tweeted:
Incredible. @NHL is partnering with @YouCanPlayTeam, an organization that fights homophobia in sports. I’m ...
