Sneezing With Eyes Open...Will They Pop Out Of Your Head?

Posted 1/24/2012 3:05:00 PM

"If you sneeze with your eyes open, your eyes will pop out of your head..."

Urban Myth or True?

If you have a minute-and-a-half of your life to waste, waste it on this:  Some girl posted a video on YouTube to prove she can sneeze with her EYES OPEN.

(The first sneeze is at :45, but the second one at 1:16 is even better.)

So, your eyes WON'T pop out of your head BUT...it looks evil and demonic and if you do it, you'll probably never get a date on a Saturday night or a return call for that 2nd job interview...

Peace and thanks for "popping" by...

Did Steven Tyler "Butcher" the National Anthem Yesterday . . . or Not?

Posted 1/23/2012 2:21:00 PM

STEVEN TYLER performed the U.S. National Anthem before yesterday's New England Patriots / Baltimore Ravens game . . . and it wasn't exactly a BEAUTIFUL rendition.

-For the most part, it was exactly what you'd expect out of a Steven Tyler National Anthem . . . only maybe a little worse.  But apparently people were expecting MUCH more, because it seems like everyone is SLAMMING him for it.

--Most of the haters were ragging on Steven's voice.  (--Steven got ALMOST all of the words right.  He sang, quote, "and the rockets' red glare as bombs bursting in air" instead of "and the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air.")

--The Associated Press is saying it wouldn't have gotten him a Golden Ticket to Hollywood . . . Deadspin.com called it one of the worst anthems of all time . . . RadarOnline.com said he "butchered" it . . .

World's Worst Referees - EVER!!!

Posted 1/20/2012 2:12:00 PM

Doesn't matter if you're a Habs, Leafs, Sens, Bruins fan or fan of whatever team...one of thing we ALL (fans, players, coaches)share is our scrutiny and displeasure with officiating.

The next time you start to complain about a missed call or phantom penalty...just remember...things could be worse...because...

The referees could be these guys...

It's one thing for the refs to be blind...but as you've seen, it's another for them to be like us. Hey it was fun and all for a great cause. Me and Carlos promise to take reffing courses in the future.

Cheers,

LUNCH THIEF!!! Passive Aggressive Office Kitchen Notes

Posted 1/19/2012 11:43:00 AM

Don't you just hate the Office Kitchen Thief (aka Richard Munch)

You know the one:

You bring in your favourite lunch or snack, toss it in the office fridge, then...when you go to get it...you find that it has misteriously grown legs and walked off. It's one of the ultimiate work place piss-offs isn't it.

One of the most common ways to deal with the OKT is to leave a note and hope the culprit gets the message (personally, I'd prefer to bypass the note and go straight to the "punch in the mouth" stage...but my anger management coach has been trying to convince me that isn't the best course of action).

Anyway, here are some of those "little notes"

If you've been a victim of office food theft, you know how upsetting it is...

If you're an office food theif: don't be a Richard Muncher! Bring your own food ...

Is There Enough Breastfeeding On Sesame Street?

Posted 1/11/2012 10:25:00 AM

Is "Sesame Street" showing enough breastfeeding?  No, apparently.  (???)

--There's an online petition going around that's attempting to, quote, "bring breastfeeding back to 'Sesame Street'."

--According to the petition, "Sesame Street" used to "tastefully" depict breastfeeding back in the '70s and '80s . . . but recently, they've only been showing "bottle feeding."

--The petition adds, quote, "We are not asking 'Sesame Street' to remove bottle feeding.  We are asking that both ways of feeding babies be shown as normal.

--"If we normalize breastfeeding in our community . . . especially with our children . . . we can help raise a generation of breastfeeders which will support our economy, make for healthier children, and lessen the risk of breast cancer for many nursing mamas!"

--They're trying to get 5,000 signatures.  As of late last night, they had over 4,000.

--You can find the petition at ThePetitionSite.com.

Oh and here's ...
